I have a really big paper due soon. I'm taking a couple summer courses so that my final year of undergrad isn't complete hell. This paper is a big deal because it is a large paper, it is a large portion of my grade, and I need an A in this course. No excuses. (I'll forgive myself if I don't get that A, but I'll regret it later). I need to keep a crazy high GPA so that I can afford this college thing (because my degree won't pay off). So what am I doing now? Procrastinating...via any means possible.

My mind is not on school at the moment. It is everywhere but. There has been a disgusting increase in creepy crawlies in this horrible pit I call home. Last night I found a silverfish scuttling along the floor in my room. If you don't know what it is, look it up. *blech* Then today I found a large beetle on my bathroom mat. I lifted the mat to kill the beetle and out scuttle two more silverfish, one of which was gigantic! My roommate found another one in the shower later today. Now as I sit at my computer procrastinating, a spider comes crawling along. Six months ago I would have had a heart attack over any one of these occurrences. (girly insectiphobic tendencies). Now I just have the heebie jeebies and zero motivation for academic writing.

Also, I should be preparing for a henna event I'm doing. Instead I listen to Lacuna Coil and read Asimov's old robot short stories. And squish bugs...
